Maybe it's time to reevaluate this one-size-fits-all mode of thinking
“If they wanted to, they would.”
I used to take this saying to heart because it makes sense, right?
If (someone) wanted to do (something), then they would.
And if they weren’t doing something, it was because they didn’t want to.
No need to be confused about whatever happened — that person just didn’t want to do/be/h…
