Here we are again.
Kids got murdered at school AGAIN.
And then we heard one elected weakling in Tennessee say out loud what no one should ever say about this uniquely American Circle of Hell:
“We’re not going to fix it.”
And (sadly) there are more like him. People throwing up their hands and saying this is how things are now. This is how we will live.
The hell we will.
What a passel of pathetic fucks.
No, We’re Not Taking That Road
Sure, I get the emotions they’re expressing:
They’re sad. We all are.
They’re tired. We all are.
They’re frustrated. We all are.
But here’s where those who won’t do anything need to get out of the way of those who will.
We Can’t Give Up Now
Cowardly quitters who give up on the future of our kids don’t deserve our time or attention, so let’s bear witness to his putrid example, learn from it, and put it away. (And vote him out.)
We won’t be like him. We can’t be. Our kids deserve more. We deserve more.
We deserve safety. And we deserve peace.
And we’re going to get both of those things, even if we have to fight like hell to get there.
We are going to fix it.
Vote. Donate. Raise hell. And keep going. Only assholes give up now.
Then they need to get the fuck out of the way for those who can.
"thoughts and prayers" my ass.
