I want to invent some stupidly enticing ring, necklace or bracelet that people think symbolizes them(hmmm maybe a cross?!) and, if you express anything othering in any way it is now permanently attached to you and emits a shock anytime it happens! I used to want everyone to wear one of those thermometers on their forehead that translated what they’re thinking but the red hats did that! I still want the George Jetson pill that is food.
Anyway, I think your Mom was terribly wise and it has turned out she was right! I think karma is a bit slow for my taste but it does a better job than I could.
